As an odourless fluid released from your eccrine glands, the essence of sweat is to prevent your body from overheating and regulate its temperature as mentioned earlier.

Sweat moves from glands then to tubes called ducts till it gets to the surface of your skin. Immediately it leaves your ducts, sweat changes from liquid to gas. Afterwards, it disappears from your skin to cool your body down.

No doubt, excessive sweating can be very worrisome and make one emotional.

People who deal with it, avoid others or feel embarrassed. If this is your case or it is already affecting you mentally, you should seek a doctor that can help and advise you on how to manage it.

Excessive sweating can be caused by a health condition or the side effect of a medication. It could also be due to a chronic skin condition — this can be hereditary. It is the most common; it affects your feet, face, hands and armpits.
