FANTASY GONE WRONG: ONLYFANS MODEL JAILED FOR MANSLAUGHTER AFTER BDSM SESSION THAT KILLED CLIENT

The 32-year-old was sentenced on Monday by a California court in connection with the death of Michael Dale, 56, who died during an extreme fetish encounter at his Escondido home on April 17, 2023.
Court records showed that Dale paid Rylaarsdam more than $11,000 for the session, which was recorded for content on her OnlyFans page.
Investigators said Rylaarsdam, who advertised fetish-related services and described herself as non-judgmental, carried out several acts during the encounter that restricted Dale’s movement and ability to breathe. Prosecutors said she bound his limbs, wrapped his body in plastic wrap “like a mummy,” sealed his eyes with Gorilla Glue, glued women’s boots to his feet, duct-taped his mouth, and covered his head with a plastic bag secured with additional tape.
Authorities said Dale was deprived of air for at least eight minutes and became unresponsive.
Rylaarsdam later attempted CPR and contacted emergency services, but Dale was pronounced dead after being taken to hospital.
According to prosecutors, Dale had specifically requested to be wrapped like a mummy during the session. Deputy District Attorney David Jarman said the plastic bag remained over Dale’s head for about eight minutes, resulting in fatal asphyxiation.
The content creator, who is also a mother of three, was arrested following a lengthy investigation by the Escondido Police Department and was charged with second-degree murder in February 2025.
She initially denied the charge but later reached a plea agreement and pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of involuntary manslaughter in May 2026.
While delivering the sentence, San Diego Superior Court Judge Brad Weinreb said her actions showed a reckless disregard for human life, although there was no evidence that she intended to kill Dale.
During the court proceedings, Rylaarsdam apologised to Dale’s family and accepted responsibility for the incident. She stated that “I’m sorry” was not enough and expressed remorse before her husband and uncle, who attended the hearing on behalf of her three young sons.
Following her arrest, she remained in custody at the Las Colinas Detention Facility and will serve her four-year prison term at the San Bernardino County Jail.
