ILUYEMI BOSEDE: ONDO WOMAN ARRESTED FOR KILLING SISTER OVER N800

The suspect, according to a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the command, Mr Olayinka Ayanlade, on Tuesday, allegedly committed the offence on September 6, 2025, following an argument that ensued between her and the deceased over N800.
The police spokesman alleged that the deceased was pushed by her sister, which allegedly led to her death.
He said, “Preliminary investigation revealed that one Iluyemi Bosede approached her elder sister, Tewogboye Omowumi, aged 35 years, to demand the sum of N800, being payment for tomatoes and pepper earlier bought. What began as a minor disagreement, however, tragically escalated into violence when the suspect allegedly held onto the clothes of the victim, causing her to fall to the ground.”
“Following the incident, the suspect was promptly arrested and is currently in custody while the case remains under investigation.”
The command expressed assurance that the suspect would be charged in court after the completion of the investigation, in line with the rule of law.
