The Niger State Police Command has arrested a woman identified as Paulina Ayuba for impersonating as a security agent, The Nation reports.

Ayuba was arrested in Maitumbi dressed in police camouflage uniform, with a knife, which she used to threaten her victims, along some Indian hemp and other hard drugs.

Ayuba claimed to be a vigilante member of Suleja group, and said the uniform was given to her to dry-clean by a yet to be identified person, but she made away with it.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Wasiu Abiodun confirmed the arrest, saying the suspect would soon be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Minna for further investigation and prosecution.
