The countdown is now on for the 2020 edition of the Most Innovative Entertainment Awards in Nigeria: The Yoruba Movie Gist Awards {YMGA}, organized by Olakiitan Adetutu Communications, which is slated for Sunday October 25th, 2020, in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.
This Third Edition of the annual event is Themed: “Celebrating The Movers And Shakers in Nollywood.”
In an official press statement released by the CEO of the glamorous award; Gbolahan Adetayo, he said this year’s edition will be different from the previous ones as his team has put together plans to ensure that this year event beats others.
According to him, “Olakiitan Adetutu communications is 100% set to host the 2020 Yoruba Movie Gist Awards.
Though, we understand the challenges that the novel Coronavirus has caused everyone all around the world, but we are determined to deliver a well packaged and entertaining event to honour those who deserve to be honoured in the Yoruba movie arena.”
Our pride stems from our innovation, which is to not only celebrate the faces of Nollywood, but from our resolve to equally honour those working tirelessly behind the scenes.
It is on record that such has never happened in the history of entertainment awards in Nigeria. And YMGA is the proud pioneer of this, as it was introduced in the first edition in 2018.
